First time I've managed to wander in here. I wasn't disappointed. The chicken strip basket appeared to contain all the white meat you could get from a single fair-sized chicken. The breading was light and well-seasoned. Really pretty good, and at a price more than fair. We sat on the sidewalk and enjoyed the weather. Coffee was even freshly prepared for our table, despite the fact it was well past noon. Looking forward to a return visit.

Went here for breakfast on a Saturday - there was one gal working and the place was busy, including 3 out of the 4 tables outside. She did an awesome job tho! Very impressed by her service and by the food. Ordered the "sausage links and eggs" - very yummy and definitely received our money's worth. There wasn't one lacking part of the platter - the sausage and toast were good, the hash browns were grated fresh there (instead of frozen) and weren't greasy, and I ordered my eggs sunny-side up and they were perfect! If you're looking for a good, budget-friendly breakfast in Twin, and one the kids will like, definitely check out Old Town GR.

I stopped into this restaurant based on the reviews I read on Yelp. There was no disappointment. Do not expect a gourmet restaurant. Given that, the food was tasty, the portions were bountiful and the service was good. It's a bit off the beaten path (i.e. it's several miles from the interstate, in downtown). It's an excellent option to the fast food joints at the interstate exits or the restaurants along the strip. The prices are fair.

Thank you fellow Yelpers for your recommendation! We were traveling through and came to the Ol' Town GR for a burger. By the way, GR in the title stands for Ground Round. I had the Everything Burger and my adorable wife had the Cheddar Bacon Jalapeño with a side of baked potato salad the servings are huge the selection of beer is decent .

Great place to eat in the downtown area, always busy in fact on occasions I had to go elsewhere because there was no seating available...which is unfortunate but always a good sign. The staff is always friendly, the portion sizes are generous and the food is great. The best thing is that if you like "The Ground Round" but not the smoke, then this is your place!!

I've eaten here twice since moving to Twin Falls a month ago, and the food was awesome each time. The restaurant might be small, but it's located right downtown,the service is great, and the prices very reasonable. I've tried the Everything Burger (which as it says, has a little bit of everything on it, including a fried egg) and the Texas Patty Melt (loaded with jalapenos). Both were cooked perfectly, and came with a huge helping of delicious fries. The baked potato salad is also to die for, just be prepared for a lot. If you like great burgers and want to eat downtown, definitely give this place a try.

Had the BBQ burger with bacon and jalapenos. FANTASTIC! And it was huge. I really should have cut it in half and taken the other half home. Probably 4,500 calories in it, but I didn't care. Juicy and flavorful. The waitress there was very friendly and attentive (even when the place was rockin' and full of people) It really does deserve 5 stars because of the food and the service. It was clean inside and bright. Just a great place to go to. Will totally go again.

I was passing through town and when I asked a local for suggestions on where to eat she immediately steered me here and I'm glad she did. Very pleasant to sit outside in downtown Twin Falls (a most delightful town) and have lunch here. I had a super good bacon cheeseburger. Big, thick juicy patty with nice, crisp, chewy bacon. They bring you all the fixings, sauces, etc. You put on what you want. HUGE amount of fries. I suggest that if you go with someone order just one order of fries. I have no doubt whatsoever that you'll still have fries left over. Waitress was very friendly, helpful and efficient. A most pleasant experience!

When you're looking for down-home-cooking, amazing service and portions that would take an average man down --- look no further than the Ol' Town GR. The place is fairly small with limited seating (inside and out) so arrive early or expect to wait a bit. If you're a fan of Chicken Fried Steak with Country Gravy, you have found your Mecca --- welcome home. My first visit I tackled the Chicken Fried Steak and I was blown away. The steak was very tender, it could easily be cut with a fork and it was seasoned perfectly --- very flavorful and enormous. If the steak wasn't enough it was accompanied by eggs, delicious home fry potatoes and smothered in yummy, yummy gravy. Generally speaking, I'm not a fan of "restaurant" gravy. Being raised by a Mom with Oklahoma roots, I grew up eating biscuits and gravy that shamed any restaurant. That said, this place rivals (maybe even edges out) my Mom's gravy (sorry Mom). It's that damn good. My second trip I had the Breakfast Nachos and they did not disappoint. It's a pile of home fried potatoes covered in sausage, scrambled eggs, onions, tomatoes, olives, cheese and country gravy. It's over a pound for sure and while I did my absolute best, I had to tap out before cleaning my plate. Not much else to say --- this place is a one of kind, family owned place that serves up delicious food at prices that are waaaaaay below average. :-)
